Olia was born in Uman, Ukraine. After studying graphic design, she decided to try her hand at illustration. In doing so she discovered her passion for illustrating stories and hasn't looked back since.
After fleeing the war in 2022, Olia was roaming Europe with her cats for 10 months and settled in Austria for a while. Throughout this time she continued to illustrate and worked on the highly illustrated edition of Kiran Millwood Hargrave's 'The Girl of Ink and Stars'. She is now back living in Ukraine and excited to be working on her next project, despite challenging circumstances. Her clients include Farshore, Chicken House and Bloomsbury. Instagram: @oliamuza |
