Meg Rennie is an illustrator and printmaker from Melbourne, Australia and graduated in 2025 with an MA in Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art. Meg’s illustrations feature sweet, playful characters, bold shapes, inky textures, and warm, vibrant colours. She finds inspiration in folk art and mid-century design, by spending time in nature, with children and animals, and at the cinema.
Meg discovered her love of screen-printing at Cambridge School of Art. Drawing from her background in collage, Meg makes her illustrations using paper, stencils, sponges, paint, crayons and pencils. Her mixed-media approach creates prints with a distinctly collage-y feel. Prior to her MA, Meg was the winner of the inaugural 2020 Little Hare Illustration prize in Australia, which resulted in her illustrating her first book for Hardie Grant Children’s Publishing. Her clients include Hardie Grant and Ladybird UK. Instagram: @megrennie.illo www.megrennie.com |
