Dee Stevens

,Dee Stevens has worked with the development team at Brown Bag Films, as an editor at Penguin Random House Children’s Books and as a director at Scholastic Children’s Books. Not content with just one job, Dee has worked as a freelance editor and journalist for over 15 years - including time at the European Commission, Poetry Ireland, Children’s Books Ireland, The Irish Times and The Bookseller. 

Dee was the co-founder of Knights Of publishers - an independent, commercial, inclusive, children's books publisher which won Children's Publisher of the Year in 2022, and Round Table Books - an inclusive, community bookstore, which won Children’s Bookshop of the Year in 2023. Dee now makes kids TV at Tiger Aspect.

Born in Dublin, they live in London with their wife (bestselling author beginning with R), young son and their dog, Howl.
