Damian Kelleher

Damian first sharpened his pencil as an advertising copywriter before swapping ads for newspapers, editing Young Telegraph, the Daily Telegraph’s award-winning children’s supplement. As well as a writing and broadcasting about children’s books, he has written several books for children and young adults including Life, Interrupted (which was shortlisted for the Branford Boase award) and A Dog in No Man’s Land.
 
He lives with his wife, two children and Ted the Bedlington terrier in north London. People often remark upon how much alike they look (that’s Ted and Damian, not Damian and his children).
