It's been an incredible year so far for Pickled ink, we've won some exciting commissions and also signed a host of fantastic new talent!
While we remain a small, boutique agency, many of our illustrators are getting booked into 2017 and beyond so we decided it was time to grow the portfolio. Over the past few months we've welcome five new artists to our list:
Erica Williams, Melissa Castrillón, Cindy Wume, Eve Coy and Ya_Ling Hunag. All are incredibly talented and we can't wait to see where their careers in illustration take them.
And it's not just the portfolio that is growing!
Managing Director, Charlie Bowden, will be going on maternity leave at the end of July and we're delighted to announce that Helen Boyle will be joining the agency to manage the illustrator portfolio and to build a Pickled ink literary list.
Helen has previously worked as a scout for foreign publishers and as a commissioning fiction editor. ‘I’m delighted to join the Pickled ink family’ says Helen. ‘It’s an exciting and energetic agency with an eye for quality and a list that is distinct and diverse. How could I resist the opportunity to work with their existing illustrators and the chance to nurture a small boutique list of authors? I can’t wait to get started!'
Helen's full bio can be viewed on the About Us page and starting from July she can be reached at [email protected]
