Born and raised in a small city of Oława in southwest Poland, Gosia started drawing as a child and has never stopped.
After graduating from the National School of Fine Arts in Wrocław and receiving her diploma in jewellery-making, she went on to study Art History at the University of Wrocław, focusing on the history of illustration. After which, she started to develop her illustration career working for numerous publishers, magazines, music labels, and advertising agencies. Recently her interests have shifted towards children's books.
Gosia has exhibited her work at various children's illustration exhibitions around the world such as Golden Pinwheel Young Illustration Competition, Biennial of Illustrations Bratislava, Tallinn Illustrations Triennial, and IBBY Poland Showcase. Recently, her illustrations were selected for the 2020 Bologna Children's Book Fair Exhibition.
Clients include: Quarto Group, Google, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, Penguin Random House, Nature, London Book Fair, Monocle, Vanity Fair.
Gosia lives and works in Wrocław.
