Annaliese Avery spends her days surrounded by stories both at work as a library manager in Beccles, Suffolk and when at home writing them. She recently completed an MA in Creative Writing, and is also a graduate of the Golden Egg academy.
She is now involved with Golden Egg as programme leader for Scotland and as a Golden Egg Editor. Her MG debut, The Invention
of Night, was recently shortlisted for The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators Undiscovered Voices 2020 anthology.
